Dr. Dennis DeLee specializes in optometry at Dean Optical. He serves our patients in the Financial District of Chicago and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Dennis DeLee did his undergraduate studies in zoology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then went on to earn an optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. With a strong desire to meet the unique needs of his patients, Dr. DeLee completed the Diagnostic Pharmaceutical Course for licensure, the Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Course for licensure, and Oral Pharmaceutical Course for licensure at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
Dr. DeLee focuses on specialty contact lens fittings; providing ground-breaking expertise relating to computer vision syndrome, including developing PRECURSOR computer glasses; managing and performing pre-operative examinations, consultations, and assessments for laser eye surgery patients; and managing postoperative laser eye surgery patients. He has also served as the President of the Chicago Northside Society of the Illinois Optometric Association. Further, Dr. DeLee is the owner of Dean Optical.
For Dr. DeLee, Dean Optical is truly a family business. Not only does his wife oversee the marketing and design for the practice, his grown daughter, Dani, oversees the billing for the practice. He even credits his other daughter and 4 grandchildren for helping ensure that Dean Optical stays up to date in terms of the best and greatest in optical technology.
When Dr. DeLee isn’t delivering top-notch eye care to patients in the most efficient, contemporary optometric environment, he enjoys:
